We are located in the courtyard of Market Square in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. We are open 7 days a week from 10.00am to 8.00pm. Our full buffet runs from 11.30 am until 8.00pm. Due to popular demand, we have created many new gluten-free items and converted many of our favourites to be gluten-free. This cookbook is a mix of the new recipes and gluten-free versions of some recipes from the first cookbook.

  • Chocolate Mousse Cake

    Serves: 8

    1 chocolate cake base

    3 cups soymilk
    1⁄2 teaspoon agar powder

    1 1⁄4 cups chocolate chips
    1⁄3 cup cane sugar
    1⁄3 cup cocoa powder
    1⁄2 teaspoon salt
    1 tablespoon vanilla

    Bring the soymilk and agar to a boil. Combine everything in a blender and blend for 10 minutes.

    Pour over the pre-baked cake base that is still in the spring form pan and refrigerate to set.
