OPEN AS USUAL ON DECEMBER 26, CLOSING EARLY AT 5.00PM ON DECEMBER 31 AND CLOSED ALL DAY ON JANUARY 1. OPEN AGAIN AS USUAL ON JANUARY 2. We are located in the courtyard of Market Square in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. We are open 7 days a week from 10.00am to 8.00pm. Recipe of the Day

Spicy Peanut Tempeh

Serves: 4

1 cup apple juice
1 cup water

1 1/2 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 large garlic clove (minced)
1 teaspoon curry paste
1 tablespoon grated ginger
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1/2 cup peanut butter

2 cups tempeh (cubed)

Bring the water and apple juice to a boil, put the seasonings and the peanut butter into a blender and blend with the boiling apple juice and water, return the sauce to a pan and keep it warm. Steam the tempeh and stir it into the sauce.
