We are located in the courtyard of Market Square in beautiful Victoria, British Columbia. We are open 7 days a week from 10.00am to 8.00pm. Our full buffet runs from 11.30 am until 8.00pm.   • Wild Rice Mulligatawny Soup

    Serves: 6

    1/2 cup wild rice
    2 cups water

    6 1/2 cups water
    1 cup onions (diced)
    2 cups potatoes (diced)

    3/4 cup carrots (diced)
    3/4 cups squash (diced)
    1 cup cauliflower (chopped)

    1 cup coconut milk
    1/2 teaspoon turmeric
    2 teaspoons salt
    1 tablespoon curry paste

    Boil wild rice for 30 minutes then drain off any excess water.

    Simmer the onions and potatoes in the 6 1/2 cups of water for 20 minutes then blend in the blender, return to the pot and add the vegetables and simmer for 15 more minutes. Add the seasonings and the cooked wild rice and serve with some chopped cilantro and green onions.
