Mochi is a rice cake made from organic sticky brown rice. We cook the brown rice and then grind and knead it into a dough. After it cools down we package it in 284g blocks. To prepare, cut mochi into pieces, place in oven, under broiler or in a waffle iron, as mochi cooks it softens, puffs up and then goes crispy. Serve it freshly cooked with your favourite spreads or toppings. Mochi is an excellent gluten free alternative to toast or crackers. Mochi is considered a high energy food especially for soon to be or new mothers and also for endurance athletes.

Love this gem of a vegan restaurant in the Bastion Market Square! The pay-by-weight buffet is fresh and beautiful. Delicious juices, green smoothies and heavenly shakes accompanied with a handmade energy bite or two make for a great nutrient dense and light lunch snack. This place never disappoints the palate and is reasonable on the pocketbook!

Great selection of vegetarian food including a daily soup, full range of hot meal items, salad bar, desserts. Buffet style, serve yourself. The cost of a meal is based on the weight of your plate, and I usually pay @$12.00 for a satisfying lunch. Other baked goodies are available to buy at the cash as well. This is my go to for veggie comfort food! Casual seating.

What an amazing selection of vegan meals at an unbeatable price. Nothing flash inside but that really doesn’t matter when you’re so impressed by the food! I wish I went back for dessert... never seen so many vegan dessert options in one place! Pay by weight, got a VERY filling meal for $16.

Dude, bro. Like so good man. I've been twice and both times very happy with the food. I am not a vegetarian or vegan but honestly that does not matter one bit. The food is amazing. Legit everything I tried was great. Can't wait to go again. You can also just run in and fill a box, weight n pay, and kick rocks. Hmm think I know what I'm doing for lunch.
