Green Cuisine Tempeh Burgers come in 3 fantastic flavours, ORIGINAL, BARBEQUE & INDONESIAN. They are precooked so just need reheating to serve.

FRIED TEMPEH RASHERS

SLICE TEMPEH FLAT WAYS & FRY IN OIL. DELICIOUS SERVED BRITISH STYLE WITH FRIED ONIONS, MUSHROOMS, TOMATOES & BAKED BEANS ON TOAST!

TEMPEH SLOPPY JOES

1 TBSP CANOLA OIL
1/2 CUP ONIONS (MINCED)
1/2 CUP GREEN PEPPERS (MINCED)
1/2 CUP MUSHROOMS (SLICED)
1/2 CUP TOMATO SAUCE

1 PACKAGE BBQ TEMPEH BURGERS

SAUTE VEGETABLES FOR 10 MINUTES, CRUMBLE IN THE TEMPEH BURGERS & COOK FOR 5 MORE MINUTES. SERVE OVER 4 TOASTED OPEN FACE BAGUETTES.

INDONESIAN TEMPEH SATAY

1 CUP APPLE JUICE
1 CUP WATER
1-1/2 TABLESPOONS SOY SAUCE
1/2 TEASPOON SALT
½ LARGE GARLIC CLOVE (MINCED)
1 TEASPOON CURRY PASTE
1 TABLESPOON GRATED GINGER
2 TABLESPOONS LEMON JUICE
½ +1/8 CUP PEANUT BUTTER
BLEND ALL THE INGREDIENTS TOGETHER.

3 PACKAGES INDONESIAN TEMPEH BURGERS
6 CHERRY TOMATOES
6 MUSHROOMS
6 BABY ONIONS

CUT EACH PATTY INTO QUARTERS & PLACE ON A SKEWER WITH A TOMATO, MUSHROOM & ONION. BROIL OR BAKE IN THE OVEN FOR 10 MINUTES. PLACE ON A BED OF RICE & POUR OVER THE PEANUT SAUCE. GARNISH WITH SOME FRESH CHOPPED CILANTRO.
