Green Cuisine’s organic tofu is made with much love, care, and respect for tradition. Our focus is on providing you and your family with a healthy, sustainable, and delicious plant protein that can be enjoyed in various ways. We have been making tofu for 40 years here on beautiful Vancouver Island, and we started as a cottage industry tucked away in the woods in Sooke on the West Coast and moved into Victoria in the late eighties. In this age of automation, we are proud to continue the tradition of hand-making our tofu in small batches. Cooking the soymilk in open kettles ensures our tofu has a mild creamy flavour, and slowly pressing the tofu increases its protein content to maximize nutritional value.
Marinated in gluten free soy sauce and spices and then baked, ready to eat right out of the package or as a go to plant based protein that adds flavour and nutritional value quickly to any meal.

At 14g of protein & zero cholesterol per serving our extra firm tofu offers an excellent nutritional profile for the centre of the plate options.
Best for grilling, stir-frying, baking, crumbling, deep-frying, and marinating.
Tofu Storage & Serving Tips
- Always keep your tofu in the refrigerator. Once opened, store your tofu in an airtight container and use it within a couple of days.
- Use different varieties of tofu firmness for different applications. Each kind has a different texture.
