This recipe brings together the umami-rich mushrooms, aromatic herbs, and our premium Smoked Tempeh to create a pasta dish that’s both nutritious and incredibly flavourful. Let’s begin!
Ingredients:
1 Pack GC Smoked Tempeh
3 Tbsp Olive Oil
1/2 Red Onion
2 Stalks of Celery
2 Cups Mushrooms
1 Tbsp Garlic Paste
1 tsp Dried Herbs
1 tsp Black Pepper
2 tsp Salt
1 Cup Crushed Tomatoes
3 Cups Pasta (We are using Lentil Penne)
3 Tbsp Almond Flour
3 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast Flakes















Preparation:
- Cook the pasta in water until al dente.
- In a heavy-bottomed pan, sauté the onion, garlic, salt and herbs until caramelised and aromatic.
- Add the tempeh, celery, mushrooms and cook for a few minutes until golden.
- Add the crushed tomatoes into the pan and sauté for 5 minutes until thoroughly cooked.
- Fold in the cooked pasta and mix everything gently. Allow to rest for 5 minutes after turning off the heat.
- Garnish with nutritional yeast and almond flour before serving hot.
