For the pastry:
1 sheet of your favourite ‘Puff Pastry’ dough
Filling for rolls:
1 pack of Simply Soy or Sunseed Tempeh
2 Tbsp Oil
2 Tbsp Soy Sauce
1 small Onion (diced)
1/2 tsp Black pepper
2 tsp Italian Herbs
1 tsp Onion Powder
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1 Chipotle Pepper in Adobo sauce
1 tsp Salt
- Set the frozen puff pastry out to thaw while you prepare the filling. It will take about 30 minutes to thaw.
- Preheat oven to 400 F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Crumble the tempeh using a food processor or with a knife.
- In a skillet, heat the oil and sauté the diced onion.
- Add the spices and sauté for another minute.
- Add the crumbled tempeh and combine everything.
